Celestial Navigation

Celestial Navigation is a spiritual journey based on the mystic’s journey toward the godhead. The work of unification, as mystics call it, is divided into three. This book follows that same pattern:

Action relates to the physical world; 

Devotion addresses matters of the heart; 

Contemplation, where the head attempts to comprehend the Divine as the spirit moves closer to the Source of All Things.  

Nature features throughout the book, and is used as a correlative or complement to the spiritual journey. 

 “In unity is diversity,” say the ancient sources. So too the poems make no division between secular and sacred, and they draw from many religions and practices.
